Ryan Reynolds will soon be starring in Netflix’s most expensive movie in the coming months with the release of 6 Underground. But we’ve got this 2015 sci-fi thriller to enjoy.
Although it was critically panned by the critics. It does feature two outstanding performances from Reynolds and Ben Kingsley. Unfortunately, the plot is somewhat similar to Altered Carbon. Where an older man transfers his consciousness into a younger body but doesn’t achieve the ending they were hoping for.
After almost a two-year wait, Mindhunter season 2 has finally arrived. We’re headed back to the 1970s tasked alongside the FBI agents trying to get in the heads most prolific serial killers. Season 2 sees significant changes taking place at BSU. Unfortunately, critics couldn’t get early access to this season. But by all accounts, if the first season is anything to go by, we’re in for a treat.
August 1 it’s shaping up to be an excellent month for new TV series. With both The Sinner and Heartland returning for recent seasons. We’ll also be getting two movies from Warner: Clash of the Titans and Jupiter Ascending.
Licensed content looks light in August as most range comprises Netflix Original projects. You have tentpole additions every Friday with plenty of foreign titles and smaller projects mixed in.
